Whether on the pitch, in stadiums or in front of screens: Every day, millions of spectators are put into a state of collective excitement. And yet "the most beautiful minor matter in the world" can suddenly turn into mass hysteria, violence and war-like situations. In "Dritte Halbzeit", we embark on a theatrical search for traces of the mass phenomenon of sport. What happens to the person behind the sports star, who is no less idolized as a modern hero?
